“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding” Prv 3 : 5 (NLT). God wants you to trust Him completely, not in your degree, not in the amount of wealth you have acquired, not in the name you have made, not in how good you are at your job, not in your savings, talents nor in anyone who you think can help you, but ONLY in Him.
Ps 146:3 (NLT) says, donβt put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. In other words, the arm of flesh will fail you. Jer 17:5 goes on to say that anyone who puts his (or her) trust in anyone is cursed.
This post emphasizes “…ALL your heart”, not some of it, or most of it but ALL. When the going is good, God wants ALL your heart on Him. When it gets tough, He still wants you to trust Him absolutely, surrendering your wisdom, achievements, wins, challenges, etc., to Him.
Trusting God could be difficult, especially just beginning to exercise faith in this direction, but it always gets better with time. When the Almighty sees your effort, He releases His grace because He understands how futile your strength is. Exercise your faith from today, and begin to trust COMPLETELY in GOD.
