Picking up from where we left off on “How to make global impacts in life: The first giant step“, which by the way I sincerely hope you had a wonderful time learning about ways to better, equip and position yourself to making impacts, I like to start this post by reminding you that you must not reach a million or thousands of people for you to have a sense of satisfaction that you have indeed impacted your world!
You can touch the lives of a few people for example your family and friends.
What do they know you for? It could be something seemingly little as your smile lifting a bad mood, your answer to a difficult question, your poise, etc.
The scripture says “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Mat 5:16 ESV.
This means that your good deeds should shine out for all to see.
This brings us to the second giant step to making global impacts which is “Impact your neighbours!”
I remember being taught in Sunday school as a child that ‘my neighbour is the next person close to me’.
In the housing sense, your neighbour is anyone living next to you. However in this generation of science and technology, your neighbour extends to anyone you can reach via mails, social media, telecoms and the likes. Can you now see how close you are to the world? The world being a global village. Making sense?
The Holy Spirit ministered to me that there are two basic ways to make impacts to your neighbours, hence impacting your world 😉 Here we go!:

1. GIVE!
Here are some suggestions on what you can give:
Give resources
Thinking money? Yes! Give money if you can
Donate clothes shoes and other materials to the less privileged and to charity
Feed someone
Donate blood (especially if you are blood group O– 😇😉😇)
Give your mind
Spare some words of encouragement to someone in need
Give good counsel and be optimistic about difficult situations
Lend your skills
Give your talent
Publish something edifying
Write a book
Carry out a research
Start a business
Be an entrepreneur
Give your time
Give a smile
Be nice
Volunteer: Serve in your local Church, serve at your place of work and in your community
Mentor someone: we are all great at something!
Uplift others as you ascend
Tutor someone
Run errands
Give to the environment
Clean up your surroundings
Plant tress, flowers a garden and the likes
Recycle. Also always make conscious effort to dispose rubbish properly
Now you can list a dozen and more ways to make global impacts, having understood this far.
A lot can be said on each of the points mentioned above but for the sake of our individuality and uniqueness, what I can ever write will be inexhaustible.
You certainly might not be able to do all but find your niche(s) and make great contributions there.
2. LOVE!
Above all, LOVE! Love humanity and Love what you do!!
For it is written: “If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.” 1 Cor 13:3 NLT
God Almighty showed us an example as seen in probably the most popular scripture in the world:
Jn 3:16: For God so LOVED the World that He GAVE His only begotten Son…
That is the greatest Impact in the World, reconciliation to God, our Father.
God did it. You too can!
I talked about meditation in “the first giant step“. I highly recommend that you meditate on each point I have mentioned throughout these posts.
Also, earlier, I stated that It is possible to make global impacts and your name is never mentioned. There might not be one share on social media to recognise you, no awards given nor thank you said. However, do it all the same, because the world needs you!
