Today’s Rainbow Post features the traditional marriage (popularly known as “Trad” or “TM”) of an Igbo bride which took place at Isiala Ngwa North L.G.A. in Abia State.
Check out the beautiful bride, Ijeoma Goodness Ndubueze and the handsome groom, Nwokocha Daniel Ndubuisi.
Here’s what the bride has to say in her own words: “My first outing was the black outfit (embroided Ankara) with beads. It was the outfit I wore to welcome the visitors who came for our traditional marriage. I sold eggs as I went round to greet them.”
“Later, I wore an Indian George with “gele” (a kind of head-tie style) for my second outing. I was asked to carry wine and look for my husband while dancing out with this outfit. I did that and then presented him to my Father for acceptance, prayers and blessings.”
